The Boys in the Band is a terrible film about a group of gay friends who are stuck in an apartment. Celebrating a birthday while spending the whole evening drinking away and chanting about there issues and problems.
I never saw the drama play. But probably do not have the interest too if it is like the movie. The story was boring. Did not go anywhere. The characters are boring. Just spending two hours of the movie drinking and chatting away there issues. It's nauseating boring.
It does have a great cast ensemble but they are wasted away with there talent. The direction and script is dull and long.
